The Modernist: I Am Love

In Luca Guadagnino’s 2009 hit starring Tilda Swinton as a rich and repressed housewife, Milanese Piero Portaluppi’s modernist masterpiece the Villa Necchi and those stylised tablescapes were the silent style protagonist. Immerse yourself fully in the Milanese situ with refreshments in glassware with beads of colour and nibbles in our handcrafted glazed ceramics.

The Minimalist: A Single Man

Making an exquisite case for less is more, Tom Ford’s 2009 directorial debut – set in John Lautner’s modernist Schaffer Residence – put the art of minimalism in the spotlight. This engrossing tale starring Colin Firth will leave you lusting after clean-lined decanters, crystal highballs, strategically placed objects and decorative ashtrays.

The Classic: High Society

Unapologetic interior opulence made High Society as aspirational a hit as the life Grace Kelly’s Tracy Lord lived. Filmed in and around Clarendon Court in Newport, Rhode Island, director Charles Walters gave close-ups to its lavish interiors making it the ultimate inspiration for styling occasional trinkets, decorative photo frames, and porcelain vases in the spotlight.

The Bohemian: The Great Gatsby

Popping with indulgence, The Great Gatsby put a hedonistic spin on the unconventional. Starring Mia Farrow and Robert Redford in 1974 and latterly Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan in 2013, both adaptations revelled in the bohemian lifestyles of the leading characters. Follow along surrounded by quirky candlesticks, hand-engraved crystal champagne glasses, and idiosyncratic tea sets.
