NasonMoretti Archive Revival 1996 Hand-Blown Murano Glass Bicolour Highball

AU$210

This NasonMoretti highball is a love letter to Japan and the many gardens of Kyoto. Designed in 1996, it’s our newest re-edition from the archive – chosen for its contemporary feel and blend of European taste with the designs and colours of life overseas. To reach its two-tone effect, the maker wistfully combines avio blue and peachy lilac, which are joined and blown together by utilising the decades-old sommerso technique. The result is a pool of colour that deposits at the base for a fresh, modern take on a classic.

Meet the Maker:

NasonMoretti

From exhibitions at MoMA, to exclusive designer collections, NasonMoretti has been uplifting interiors with distinctive glassware since 1923. Founded by five brothers, collections blend Murano mastery with innovative mixing and cold-cutting techniques. Their colour creation method is still a well-kept secret, and they remain the only studio in the world who can produce 22 green and 8 blue shades.
