Robynn Storgaard purposefully creates her ceramics as the antidote to throwaway consumerism – her slow and steady ethos birthing modern keepsakes to be discreetly admired. Robynn’s experience as an architectural designer, and itinerant past, are evident through her experimental approach, with textural tableware and vases understated yet playful, thanks to details like asymmetry and exaggerated forms. Having settled in Copenhagen after living as far afield as Canada, Los Angeles and Osaka, Robynn produces small-batch pieces in her studio from locally sourced clay and glazes. Each collector receives an object that’s subtly bespoke through the natural imperfections inherent to hand-shaped pottery.
