A lifelong aesthete, Henriette van Marle’s creative evolution took her across Europe – art history study in the birthplace of the Renaissance, followed by interior design and architecture in her native Holland, then London, having found her niche in high-end table dressing. Today, Van Marle’s Amsterdam-based HMA | Blank Space collaboration offers custom-made linens, each piece hand-cut and finished with meticulous embroidery like contrast stitching and scalloped edges.
