Once Albert Thiry settled in Vallauris in 1943, he furthered his training in various ceramic workshops, including that of Charles Voltz. Thiry worked closely with his wife, Pyot Gavaudan, who helped him to establish his decorative, sculptural aesthetic. This platter from the 1950s spotlights his signature of engraved detailing. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
