Vallauris on the Côte d'Azur had its prime in the 1950s, attracting pottery powerhouses such as Pablo Picasso and Robert Picault. The commune is known as the city of clay – and with good reason, as it's been a hub for pottery since ancient times. This mid-century woven ceramic bowl is attributed to Jérôme Massier via the ‘fait main’ signature to the base. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
