Korean Artisans
Korean ceramics have a rich, vast heritage that dates back thousands of years. Over time, traditional techniques and styles have flourished, enriched by exchanges with contemporary craftspeople who have put a fresh spin on age-old approaches. Our curation includes bucolic Buncheong that comes alive in painterly florals, perfectly imperfect porcelain hand-glazed in ivory washes, as well as oxidised clay that’s been manipulated so cleverly it somehow makes black feel like the most vibrant shade on the spectrum.
