This 1923 carafe is an exclusive re-edition from NasonMoretti’s archive, coloured in a unique hue indicative of the low oxide supplies during the First and Second World Wars. It was initially developed as part of a sake set, but as this wasn’t a common beverage during 1920s Europe, it became used for a host of other drinks instead. As well as being before its time, it also featured in Gabriele D’Annunzio’s personal collection and even made its way into the Vittoriale degli Italiani.

NasonMoretti

From exhibitions at MoMA, to exclusive designer collections, NasonMoretti has been uplifting interiors with distinctive glassware since 1923. Founded by five brothers, collections blend Murano mastery with innovative mixing and cold-cutting techniques. Their colour creation method is still a well-kept secret, and they remain the only studio in the world who can produce 22 green and 8 blue shades.
