Mori Glass founders Koichiro and Chieko Mori established a glass studio in the Kagawa Prefecture in 2018 and have been delighting collectors with their distinctive designs ever since. To produce a piece of glassware, artisans in the workshop mix two colours into molten glass to create vibrant rods, which are then arranged vertically next to one another and re-melted. This results in a vertical stripe pattern with gradient hues – an instantly recognisable contemporary feature that has come to represent an authentic Mori Glass piece.
