Number one is music – I always opt for a pre–made playlist – and number two, an excellent, fun, personality-full table of guests. I also love a private dining room, for the traditional aspect and intimacy of it.
It has to be silver. I love what it gives to events, how it lends a dressed-up elegance and simplicity at the same time. Silver items are designed for life and created to stand the test of time, so you have this feeling of heritage on your table. It also feels very old world, which I love. If I’m allowed a second, it’s water served in wine glasses in quite an old–world table setting again. I love to do this at my table.
Silver cutlery designed for life springs to mind. The way that I‘ve designed mine means they are traditional, modern, they work for all ages and tablescapes, and they can be casual or formal.

Less is more when creating an impactful table. I use floral tablecloths with matching napkins and let them do the talking. I add plates in the same colour palette and then the food to top it off. It all combines into a very tasteful, timeless setting. I prefer an artfully coordinated table over a mismatched table, 100%.

It’s definitely my living room and I have two favourite ways to unwind there. One is sitting on my sofa with a cocktail in my hand speaking to friends and entertaining (I love a dirty martini and the best gift I could receive for that room would be a silver vintage cocktail shaker!). But I also like to spend time there with a cup of tea under an Emilia Wickstead blanket.
