Objet Luxe is in c... Objet Luxe is in constant dialogue with the natural world, stirred by what the owners – Mette and Jesper Madsen – refer to as its ‘incomparable beauty’. For 20 years, Objet Luxe has been creating conversation pieces for the home, bringing each masterpiece to life with the help of highly skilled artisans who share its love for quality, heritage and artistic tradition. Sustainably sourced raw materials like sea shell and mother-of-pearl enrich the craft tales, alongside complex silverwork techniques such as lost-wax casting. The results are enchanting, memorable and perfect for resident thalassophiles (lovers of the sea). Objet Luxe

A deep respect of nature is at the heart of Objet Luxe, as all materials are ethically and sustainably sourced while complying to environmental legislation. They are never endangered – which is how they comply to CITES – and can be traced back to Thailand, Philippines or Indonesia. Every creation is cast and crafted by hand to slot in and around the raw material like a perfect puzzle piece, before being plated in silver and coated with lacquer. Expect nature-inspired themes and fine materials that capture the owners’ love for curious concepts, from pufferfish skin (on pufferfish boxes, no less) and mother-of-pearl mosaics to cowrie, limpet and nerite shells with organically formed growth marks.
