They work with hand-powered traditional jacquard looms that are hand-built for each piece – this is how they achieve no seam and such a monumental size. This heavyweight blanket features a complicated jacquard design that requires the line density to be kept the same via an equal distribution of the warp and weft. This 32-piece collection is made up of double-faced cashmere blankets, cushions and home accessories that have been crafted by the finest cashmere artisans in Nepal, Himalayas. The pieces can take between 36 and 50 hours to weave, and are brought to life with the help of hand-powered traditional jacquard looms that are hand-built to meet the requirements of the creation in question – this is how they reach such notable widths without seams. The colour palette, personally designed by Pamela Shamshiri, is bright, bold and the perfect accent to a curated space.
