Kelly Lamb
Massachusetts-born artist Kelly Lamb spans diverse disciplines, taking on sculpture, photography, video, ceramics, furniture, and product and interior design. She holds a BFA from Bennington College, and her work is inspired by the concept of ‘sacred geometry’ and the physics of infinity. Mediums like clay, metal and wood are moulded and chiselled into organic structures with clean lines and geometric shapes that evoke both the order and chaos of the cosmos. Her work has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries and art fairs, including Art Basel and The Armory Show.

Meet the Maker:
Kelly Lamb
When she moved to Los Angeles in 2005, Kelly Lamb established herself as a maker of funky – and functional – design objects. Discussing her making process with clay, Lamb says “it’s like an orchestrated dance that’s about this transformation of these personal effects and how they affect the glazes” – the results of such a dance are objects that are akin to aggregate gemstones.
