Lucas Castex builds on his collection of wooden wonders with these only-at-ABASK candlesticks, designed for our first physical and international event at Salon Art + Design 2023 in NYC. They’re modelled on a stackable children’s toy, with 19 modular, interchangeable pieces that can be mixed and matched. On each block, you’ll find intricate patterns hand carved by the self-taught maker, who has a range of blades in his Les Landes studio that he loves to experiment with.

Interior designer and craftsman, Lucas Castex, is a self-taught woodworker who carves up unique, rustic creations - including our exclusive oiled walnut serving boards - from his forest-lined Les Landes studio in France. His sculptural, soul-led collections are characterised by repetitive patterns and original burnt wooden textures which contribute to his playful and modern design aesthetic.
