Darcy Miro
Darcy Miro’s multidisciplinary work encompasses a variety of materials and methods; ceramic, brass, resin, glass, as well as the age-old technique of lost wax bronze casting. Her hand-built mirrors, which echo the aesthetic of her jewellery in their punctured and collaged format, aim to express the charm and emotion of motherhood. Through motifs of bow ties, shoelaces and hairbrushes, Miro’s work exudes passion and whimsy.
