Mahnaz Ispahani Bartos, a greatly admired New York curator, collector, and philanthropist, discovered her love of jewellery as a child through gifts from her Pakistani mother and Iranian grandmother, including Persian turquoise earrings and rings, Meenakari bangles, and an Omega watch designed by Andrew Grima.
