NasonMoretti Archive Revival 1978 Hand-Blown Murano Coupe Bowl

€162

In 1291, all glassmakers who lived in Venice were ordered to move to Murano because of the increasing fire risk that surrounded their factories; other historians, however, believe they were moved to keep trade secrets under wraps. This archival re-edition from NasonMoretti was first released in the spring of 1978, with a joyous palette fuelled by the many colours of the gardens and courtyards that were once dotted across the island.

Meet the Maker:

NasonMoretti

From exhibitions at MoMA, to exclusive designer collections, NasonMoretti has been uplifting interiors with distinctive glassware since 1923. Founded by five brothers, collections blend Murano mastery with innovative mixing and cold-cutting techniques. Their colour creation method is still a well-kept secret, and they remain the only studio in the world who can produce 22 green and 8 blue shades.
