In an effort to preserve the 250-year-old indigo block-printing methods of her native Hungary, Nyul works alongside the country’s last remaining workshops to produce her rich linens and ceramics. Printing by hand with custom wood and brass blocks leads to charming imperfections in the pattern and a rustic, “brushstroke” quality that makes each piece unique.
