Studio Shamshiri and ABASK’s home-design collection of bright, bold accessories is designed to accent a curated space. Each creation is crafted by the finest artisans in Nepal using hand-powered traditional jacquard looms. To create this cashmere hot water bottle, a blanket-weave fabric is woven, cut to size and dyed in its respective colour before being sewn together to the correct proportions. It’s complete with a pure silk lining. Studio Shamshiri and ABASK are proud to support Médecins Sans Frontières where $30 from this purchase will be donated to help bring life-saving medical care to people in need.

Meet the Maker:

Studio Shamshiri x ABASK

This 32-piece collection is made up of double-faced cashmere blankets, cushions and home accessories that have been crafted by the finest cashmere artisans in Nepal, Himalayas. The pieces can take between 36 and 50 hours to weave, and are brought to life with the help of hand-powered traditional jacquard looms that are hand-built to meet the requirements of the creation in question – this is how they reach such notable widths without seams. The colour palette, personally designed by Pamela Shamshiri, is bright, bold and the perfect accent to a curated space.
