Italy-based Bufalini regularly pushes the boundaries of marble sculpting, chiselling and shaping pristine white Carrara marble extracted from the Alpi Apuane into organic forms. The Drap collection is particularly intriguing – to form this bowl, a leftover marble block is treated with a high-pressure water jet to create pleated edges that are simultaneously delicate and strong, resulting in a showpiece of kinetic energy and sustainable practice.
