Fornasetti’s trays are objects of art alone, but acquire a new functionality when teamed with one of the house’s holders or stands. This wooden stand, with four legs and a fold-open mechanism, allows your tray to be transformed into a coffee table. It’s designed for trays with a 60cm (23.6”) diameter.

Fornasetti

The Milanese design atelier renowned for the design and decoration of timeless pieces was founded in the 1940s by Piero Fornasetti, a multi-disciplinary artist who created over 13,000 objects in his lifetime. Barnaba, his son continues the design legacy which defies categorisation: Fornasetti is at once imaginative, ironic and sophisticated.

The result is a marriage of inspiration and functionality which is expressed in every day objects such as porcelain, accessories and furniture. Every piece is handmade in limited annual editions.
