Madeleine candles, named in homage to the Madeleine church in Paris, are handcrafted from superior-quality wax by master candle-makers with ancient savoir-faire. Dyed in small lots at Trudon’s atelier in Normandy, the cornflower-blue tapers are dripless and smokeless and burn for seven hours.

Claude Trudon started selling spices and candles at Rue Saint Honoré in 1643.
