1950s Robert Picault for Longchamp Ceramic Dinner Plates (Set of 12)

$625

Over six centuries, Longchamp’s speciality has evolved from tiles to earthenware, earning it the status as the benchmark for fine dining. Its locale – of which it’s named after – is a small village on the borders of Burgundy in France, the ideal place for a ceramic studio due to the surrounding forests and nearby quarries. In the 1950s, it collaborated with pioneering potter Robert Picault on a collection of nature-inspired tableware, spotlighting a series of fish hand-drawn by Picault. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
