Each sheet of inlay is pieced together using various veneers that have been painted, finished and super gloss-varnished by hand; these are then laser-cut to fit the required dimensions. Backed by the highest levels of manual artistry, the Mestre humidor shows how captivating the results of this meticulous process – which dates back to the 1300s – can be. It’s complete with a cedarwood lining chosen for its expert humidity control.
