Siblings Aleksandra and Wojciech Zawistowski founded Szkło in 2022 to challenge the status quo of glassware. Guided by an organic approach, their conceptual sketches are shaped from bespoke moulds using natural materials such as stacked bricks, wood and stone – often, remains of these can be captured between the layers in the final results. Their work honours the journey from glass to sculpture through spontaneous forms that balance raw curves and edges reminiscent of melting magma with solid, brittle finishes.
